
| Whereas the 1920's were busy years for Dorothy on the professional front the 1930's were more busy on the personal front. Many things occurred in this decade: Dorothy left MGM to freelance instead of taking a cut in pay, she married and divorced William Boyd, her mother and sister died, was ill and hospitalized, was arrested twice and all while trying to keep her declining movie career alive. |
